Saturday my baby boy graduates from high school.  This fall he will join his brother and sister in college.  Freshman, Junior  and Senior.  They are wonderful children; I am very proud of them.  Tomorrow my brother is visiting from Nashville and my Dad and Mom from West Virginia.  We will all get together and reminisce.  I look forward to just sitting around and resting with them and sharing memories.  I look forward to watching my Nathan wear his cap and gown and close out this chapter of his life.  I look forward to the next chapter.  Congratulations Nate.

God is good.  All the time, He is good.  The only anchor, the only calm...He is there and He is good.  No matter what, no matter what happens...He is and therefore I am thankful.  Nate, don't worry about the burn guy, a lot of people are in to playing games...be real.  Justin, don't worry about the bombs, God has different plans....be thankful.  Teresa, don't worry about the boy(s), God is who completes us....be fulfilled.  Love Dad

Yes, my dear son it will get updated.  I just finished accomplishing more of the mundane tasks we must perform if we are to live in this world...paying bills.  I have also just finished an almost record feat (for me) of 53 hours of activity and only 2.5 hours of sleep in between.  Don't ask me why I do that...I just don't get that tired when I have many things to get done.  Ceramic tile laid, carpet installed, chimney rebuilt, appliances in place and working, plumbing fixed, and some painting finished......when will it all end? It will in after the painting of nine more rooms, and trimming out the rec room.  After that I will sit down to rest and enjoy the environment.  Speaking of environment, I played golf with Nate this week...best score for me to date.  There is nothing so relaxing as chasing a small white ball around acres of earth manicured to perfection (with a few beaches thrown in).  I love golfing with my children............oops, I just fell asleep at the computeer and had to erase a string of about 1,000 oooooooooooo's.  So, that's my cue; it's time for beddy-bye, even though today is the last nice day we'll have for awhile.  Better yet........maybe I'll go golfing

Painting, painting, painting, and then more painting.  I have done little else in the past two weeks.  Room by room, little by little, I can hardly wait until it is finished.  When I am done, every inch and every corner inside the house will have been painted.  I am glad to be a home owner again.  I am glad to be able to work on it.  I will be glad when I can sit down with my children in a dwelling that is mine (ours) and share it with them.  It has been over two and a half years that I have been a "dweller" with no place to really call "home".  My home is actually with my children, for that is where my heart is.  But for now, I will keep painting, so that this house will be a nice home when they are here.
